In the event of severe weather, the Executive Director has the discretion to cancel or postpone programs or activities at the Sarnia and Chatham clubs. Notice of cancellation of programs and services will be reported on local radio stations CKSY 94.3 in Chatham and The Fox 99.9 in Sarnia.
In the event of the need to close one or both Clubs once our daily programs have begun, at least one staff member wills be responsible to stay until all members and volunteers have safely left the premises.
Because there are a lot of cancellations normally reported on the radio during a severe weather event, it might take a while for the notification about our club to be played on air. If members are in doubt about whether or not the Club is open, you are encouraged to call the club before coming.
The Chatham Club’s phone number is 519-351-0297 and the Sarnia’s Club number is 519-491-2668. We are unable to change our outgoing message if we are not here so if you call and there is no answer, then please assume that the Club is closed due to weather.
Please do not attempt to come to the Club or get dropped off if you are unsure as to whether or not the Club is open.
